Prevost (Swuq’us) has become somewhat of a legend over the last two decades. Although Canada is home to many incredible athletes, it is obvious that Prevost is the secret sauce in the recipe for a Downhill Champion. The trails here are proper descending-only downhill tracks. They are high speed, challenging, steep, and riddled with features. Although there is one run that might be considered a blue trail, everything else on Prevost is expert only.
With no true climbing trail, most riders on Prevost shuttle to the top. At the time of writing, there is no official shuttle service, so bring your own vehicle/driver or try to find a group with an empty seat. As this network is yet to have official oversight, signage is lacking and ride around options do not always exist. It is best to familiarize yourself with the trails here before getting too committed.
The shuttle pickup point and main parking lot are located in the gravel pull-off just past Davie Road and the power station on Mt. Prevost road. To get here, turn off of Hwy 18 on to Somenos Road, and then left onto Prevost. This is not an official parking lot, and there are no official facilities available.
Note: Prevost is partially sheltered from the sun, and thus snow will stick around much longer than on the other mountains. Importantly, shuttling is not possible during the summer, as the gate up the dirt road is closed due to fire hazard.
Routes aren't very relevant on Prevost as trails are shuttled and, for the most part, are ridden point to point.

Return to Trail List Menu.Graceland is the most accessible trail to ride on something other than a downhill bike, or for riders looking for something less challenging. It is a relatively low grade (for Prevost) run that offers a bit of speed, tech, and tighter maneuvers.

Jumps! Adrenaline is right at the base of the mountain and is where many riders chose to finish their runs. This is a proper gap-jump line that is best attempted by expert level riders. The line links up well hit after hit with no big surprises.

Bubonic is a favourite of the local pros. It is rutted out, high-speed, and choppy, with lots of tight turns to keep you on your toes. A proper training track for riders looking to sharpen their skills at speed.

Cleavage is a legendary track, made famous by Steve Smith’s segment in the Seasons film. Unfortunately it turns into a river bed each winter and gets more and more eroded year after year. It’s current condition is close to unrideable (and not in a fun way).

Daisy is another Prevost classic. Originally it was a steep run full of switchbacks and many heavy hitting wood structures. Back in the day, the trail made a point to jump or gap over Graceland at every intersection. Although the wood stunts have now rotten away, the personality of the trail remains with steep turns and committing drops.

Gold Member is the section of trail that you take to get to either Graceland or The $1.87. It is low grade but super high speed. Fast berms and a couple jumps along the way make it a great start to the trails below.

Memphis is another legacy trail. It is steep in sections, fast in sections, has the occasional jump, drop, and benchcut. A well rounded trail that has remained relevant for years.

New school, steep, off-camber and rutted. This run replicates some of the more eroded sections found in world cup race tracks. As with most Prevost tracks, you will also find a few committing jumps and drops.

Another classic. Patchworks is legendary for being steep and requiring full commitment by riders. A favourite of the late great Steve Smith.

A proper high speed blast full of gap jumps and drops. Not as steep as some of the other trails but it makes up for it in speed and airtime.

Sometimes referred to as “the race trail”, The $1.87 is another legacy trail heavily featured in the Seasons film. Not overly steep but fast and choppy. This run is less committing than most of the other runs on the mountain.
Trailforks Link.
One of the more flowy runs on Prevost. Expect rollers, ruts, and some flat turns.
